The risque magical girl game Magicami will be having a collaboration with science fiction series, STEINS;GATE! Magicami, developed by Studio MGCM and published by DMM Games, is a take on the magical girl genre that takes cues from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, spicing it up with adult game/R-18 elements. STEINS;GATE meanwhile, features an eclectic group of friends who somehow create a form of time machine, and the threads only get wilder from there.
The Magicami and STEINS;GATE collaboration will begin 16 March 12:00 JST until 31 March 2020 23:59 JST. In addition to the upcoming collaboration event, a login bonus on 6 March will provide 3000 jewels. There will be one free 10-fold gacha pull from 16 to 31 March as well, for the limited event gacha banner. For the curious, this collaboration will not have the R-18 element.
Nico Nico Douga will also be airing the 24 episodes of the STEINS;GATE anime for free from 14 March 0:00 JST to 22 March 23:59 JST to get players familiar with the source material of the collaboration. Considering its platform, you shouldn’t be expecting subtitles, but if you were looking for an excuse to rewatch the anime, you might as well join in.
This collaboration is the first “major” one for Magicami. Interested players can find the game on DMM’s website on PC, with a mobile version expected early summer 2020.
