Via the game’s official page, Konami announced that Love Plus Every will be featuring a “Kanojo Plus Lite” mode that can be accessed even after the game ends it service on 5 August 2020, according to an update 1.6.0 changelog.
For that mode, there will be the Photography, AR Photography and VR Viewing features, although costume availability for this will be limited at the start. More fashion will be added on a later date. Meanwhile any photographs taken with the Photography mode can be saved to your local storage.
A number of events will be added to the VR Album that can be accessed by the user at any given time, even if they are not unlocked in the main game, and they are:
- Summer After School (TGS 2017)
- Beach Nap
- My Sweet Valentine
- In the Girl’s Room
As the “Kanojo Plus Lite” separate mode from the main game, it will not automatically reflect the state of the main game by default. Players will have to use the Settings Load feature that is available for limited period in order to export the state of your profile and girlfriend to the “Kanojo Plus Lite.”
Even though the game did not take off as intended, it is nice that Konami is doing this as a sign of good faith. As kareshis, seeing Love Plus Every flop is somewhat heartbreaking, but hopefully they go to the drawing board to restart the franchise.
