Bushiroad Games has announced that Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club will be getting the franchise’s first visual novel game on the Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch title was announced during the “Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 6th Live! I Love You ⇆ You Love Me” concert tour on Sunday, with no further details unveiled yet.
However, the game does have a tagline that reads, “Your school life with the 12 girls, begins anew.”
Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is part of the Love Live! multimedia project created by Hajime Yatate and Sakurako Kimino and co-produced by Kadokawa.
In particular, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a spin-off series that was first released in 2017 as “Perfect Dream Project” and initially created as part of the game Love Live! School Idol Festival All-Stars.
Unlike the previous idol groups of Love Live!, μ’s and Aqours, this spin-off series focuses on the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, a group of school idols who compete with each other while also cooperating to keep their school club alive.
Aside from a new game, the concert also announced the 7th concert tour, along with the reveal of the premiere date of September 6th, 2024, for its previously announced anime trilogy.
