Love Live arcade game heads to PS4 worldwide

The Love Live franchise’s arcade game will be heading to PS4, and to the surprise of many, will also be available worldwide! Stylized as Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ Wai-Wai!Home Meeting!!, Square Enix opened the official teaser website, as well as a teaser trailer for the title you can watch below:

The official website merely states:

“Enjoy live performances from μ’s, Aqours, and Saint Snow on a “big screen” with the PlayStation 4’s beautiful 3D graphics!”

There’s no mention of the ALLSTARS girls which would include the Nijigasaki cast at present. There’s not much news regarding the English release; if there’ll be any support or bonuses for the arcade cards as the machines are Japan only, possible DLC or even a release date. With the PS5’s release on the horizon, it might also be prudent to keep an eye out to see if the PS4 version of the Love Live arcade game would be available on the next-gen console.

In any case, even if you haven’t been able to fly out to Japan just to try out the arcade version, you’ll be able to play it in your home Soon, whenever that will be. Stay tuned for more info.
