During February’s State of Play, it was announced that the highly anticipated action RPG will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC on May 30, 2025. The game, which began as a solo project by Yang Bing, creator of Lost Soul Aside and CEO of Ultizero Games, has evolved into a full-scale adventure featuring fast-paced combat and sci-fi fantasy elements.
Lost Soul Aside will feature a fluid combat system centered around the protagonist Kaser and his shape-shifting weapon. Players can customize their combat style through various weapon types, focusing on swordsmanship, ranged attacks, or mobility. The game also incorporates Arena, Kaser’s dragon-like companion, whose abilities can be strategically deployed during battles.

The PS5 version will take advantage of the console’s capabilities, offering 4K graphics, fast loading times via the SSD, and DualSense controller features including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. The PC version will be optimized for performance while maintaining core gameplay features.
Pre-orders will open on February 19, with the standard edition priced at $59.99/£59.99/€69.99/¥7,980. A Digital Deluxe Edition will be available for $69.99/£69.99/€79.99/¥8,980, including additional content such as Arena’s golden outfit, weapon skins, accessories, a digital soundtrack, and artbook.

Pre-order bonuses for both editions include Kaser’s original outfit from the game’s earliest reveal, in-game currency, and healing potions. PlayStation Store pre-orders begin at 10am EST/7am PST, while PC pre-orders through Steam and Epic Game Store start at 11am EST/8am PST.
