Netease Games‘ Lost Light will see players join a task force known as the Fireflies, as you work to find out the mysteries behind the brutal exclusion zone that nonetheless holds rich rewards with equal danger in a new gameplay showcase. In this post apocalyptic world, you can either go in guns blazing or sneak around avoiding confrontation to secure your loot. You can party up with other players in your quest too, and help those who are down. It’s described as having a player-driven economy.
Lost Light is a survival looter shooter, as you might have gathered from the description of its gameplay. The game uses these core elements to provide the most “realistic war experience”:
- Warfare
- Progression
- Competition
The items you find in the game all have prototypes in real life. There are five different firearm types, with 12 possible modifiable parts bearing their own attributes.
This level of realism is also applied to the characters, designing them and their gear with care and based on real life models. The design incorporates about 10% futuristic design due to the near future setting. Head into battle with 12 different level sets of armour and helmets in whichever combination you choose, and whatever material they’re made of. The effects you change will be reflected accordingly.
