Dragami Games has announced a change in the release date for their upcoming title, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. The game will now launch on September 12 in the Americas and Europe, nearly two weeks earlier than the previously announced date of September 25. This adjustment applies to all versions of the game, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The revised release date is accompanied by confirmation of the final pricing for Western markets. Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be available for $44.99, a slight reduction from the initially reported price of $49.99.
It’s worth noting that the release date remains unchanged for Japan and the rest of Asia, where the game is still set to launch on September 26. Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a remake of the 2012 cult classic, Lollipop Chainsaw.
The game retains the original storyline, following Juliet, a zombie-hunting cheerleader, as she battles through a zombie apocalypse on her 18th birthday. Dragami Games has focused on implementing quality-of-life improvements and introducing additional gameplay content while preserving the core experience.
