Lineage M has launched in South Korea recently, and we get a chance to try it out just after its launch.
I once thought only games with impressive graphics and exhilarating combat scene will rank high in the top grossing game chart, but the Lineage M proves me wrong. Instead of high-quality graphics which is almost too common in the mobile gaming industry now, Lineage M stick with its nostalgic artwork from Lineage. If you have not heard about Lineage yet, it is one of the most popular PC MMORPG released back in 1998 (almost 20 years ago!).
Fans of Lineage would love this game, as it brings back all the memories from Lineage – classes, alliances, dungeons, raids and more. Even though the game is porting features from its PC predecessor, they are all optimised for a better experience on mobile.
Here are some great features that I would like to mention about:
- The iconic Lineage classes – You can choose to be Knight, Elf, Prince, or Magician at the beginning of the game.
- Transformation system – You can transform your character for a limited time to gain special skills and abilities.
- Open world exploration – You can explore the world all by your own (or form a party).
- World Raids – You can fight the monster bosses for some epic loot.
To be honest, I am not a fan of Lineage nor old school MMORPGs, but if you are, this is the game for you.
