LINE Games and Shueisha have announced a new game project, with no title thus far. Posuka Demizu, of The Promised Neverland, has been credited as the main character designer for the project. Promised Neverland‘s manga will be ending with 181 chapters, and it seems that already the mangaka has a new project on the horizon. Shueisha itself is more known as a publisher of printed works rather than games, so it’ll be interesting to see how this partnership will work out.
For the time being, really rough character drafts for three of the characters have been revealed on the website.
Razi – or however they eventually romanize it – is a young boy who dreams of climbing the sky-high tower and visit the legendary land of Eden. He sells the bricks and scraps off the tower in service of this dream. He has a fateful encounter with the robot named Den, and his destiny is changed for ever…
Pending official romanization, Mailey is the receptionist of the adventurer’s guild. With adventurers wanting to see her again, their survival rate has improved, all to see her gentle smile. No one has yet been successful in approaching her.
Doubtlessly our mascot character, Den is a robot, who loses his memory after his fall off the tower. He may or may not be reliable, so who knows what his true nature is?
We’ll see what will come out of this LINE and Shuiesha game project in the future.
