SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released a video interview featuring voice actor Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi, who plays the role of Yuki Tsuruno in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi’s character – Yuki Tsuruno is a yakuza captain in the Watase Family, a subsidiary within the Omi Alliance.
In the two-minute video interview, Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi shares his thoughts and feelings on joining the cast, the recording session experiences, the script, and his character, Yuki Tsuruno.
Yamaguchi-san expressed that he feels ecstatic to be able to take on the role of Yuki Tsuruno and relate him greatly, describing him as a loyal man that would do anything for his love ones despite his affiliation.
“I’m also somewhat like that. So I was able to sympathize with him a lot.” says Yamaguchi-san.
Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name is a spin-off of the Yakuza games and will tell the story between the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and Yakuza: Like A Dragon when protagonist Kazuma Kiryu faked his death and took on the guise of a secret agent working for the Daidoji faction under the alias of “Joryu”.
