As we get closer to the launch of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, SEGA reveals more details regarding Kazuma Kiryu, one of the main playable characters, and his side story arc.
In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Kazuma Kiryu, the long-running main character of the series, reveals that his days are numbered.
Revealing to his companions, they suggest he create a bucket list to find closure and make the most of what time he has left, thus The Bucket List serves as an exclusive side story for Kazuma Kiryu.
The Bucket List
This side story contains a list of Kiryu’s lifelong wishes and loose ends that he must tie up before his life comes to an end.
The Bucket List is split into various parts, including the Life Links, a series of episodes that shed light on what Kiryu’s former comrades are up to now; Memoirs of a Dragon, a chance for Kiryu to visit places from his part and reminisce, and Unfinished Business, a collection of loose ends as missions which Kiryu must tend to.
As Kiryu checks off more items on his bucket list, his exclusive Soul, Tech, and Body parameters will increase, raising his Awakening level and strengthening each aspect of his iconic and destructive Dragon of Dojima fighting style.
This means, typing up Kiryu’s loose ends and completing his bucket list will bring him closer to his peak physical condition.
Life Links
As mentioned, Life Links is a series of episodes that grants players a glimpse into the present lives of Kiryu’s old friends, providing a chance for reflection for the broken hero.
The fateful reunion between Kiryu and Date serves as a catalyst for Life Links, some of which involve Date’s scheming and conniving.
Throughout his journey, Kiryu has crossed paths with many people and left a profound impact on their lives, just as they have played a significant role in shaping Kiryu into who he is today.
Some characters whom Kiryu met could even assist in combat as Poundmates after you have reached a certain point in their story.
Memoirs of a Dragon
This is an exploration mode that allows Kiryu to revisit familiar locations in Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho and reconnect with his past, allowing him to relive his memories as well as spur his reawakening.
Unfinished Business
Unfinished Business is a series of loose ends that Kiryu must tend to, ranging from dining at a restaurant, singing karaoke, or laying the beatdown on some enemies.
Completing these loose ends will increase Kiryu’s Awakening and play a pivotal role in his growth and making progress in Life Links.
