Like A Dragon: City of Wars Mobile Game Launches Today in East Asia

Like A Dragon takes a new direction as their latest mobile game, City of Wars Powered By Ryu Ga Gotoku, is available to install and play as of today.

Similar to games such as Rise of Kingdoms and Clash of Clans, City of Wars takes the approach of real-time strategy gaming in which players must build their cities and strategize where and what should be added to benefit their area without risk of destruction. In regards to how this concept benefits the addition of the familiar faces of the Like A Dragon series, it is certainly an odd collaboration.

The setting of the game takes place on an island known as Bliss Isle where order has been compromised and players will have to build cities and strategize the best possible outcome for victory. They will then have the players form a team in which they will be added into an auto-resolve battle system as PvP (Player Vs Player) and PvE (Player Vs Environment).

Additionally, City of Wars has a gacha system where players can pull cards of all rarity’s featuring memorable characters from the Like A Dragon series such as Kiryu Kazuma, Goro Majima, Ichiban Kazuga, Akira Nishikiyama and many more.

City of Wars Powered By Ryu Ga Gotoku is available to play on iOS and Android now. The game is currently only available in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan with language settings exclusively in Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
