With the aim to assist promising game developers and smaller studios on their journey in the games industry, MDEC and Komune together announce an incubator space – LEVEL UP Inc based in Kuala Lumpur. Located on Level 6 of UOA Corporate Tower (Bangsar South), the incubator space occupies about 6,000 square feet.
The incubator space can house up to 48 individuals or 10-15 indie game companies (with the size of 1-6 person per company). Facilities such as customised brainstorming room and high-end game labs (equipped with VR hardware and console development kits) are all available too.
Some up-and-coming game developers including Magnus Games Studio (developer of Re: Legend), Kaigan Games and Game Taiko has been setting their base in LEVEL UP Inc. Also, famous partners including Google and Sony Interactive Entertainment will be providing various resources, cross-border collaborations, business acceleration and technology support to the developers.
LEVEL UP Inc is still looking to incubate more budding talents so if you are interested, you can apply for it by filling up the online application form.
