Lemon Sky Studios Announces Involvement With Demon’s Souls Remaster

Lemon Sky Studios, continues to bring pride to Malaysians as the studio announced its involvement with one of the launch titles available exclusively on the PS5.

Lemon Sky Studios announced in a Facebook post today that they were approached to work on the remaster for Demon’s Souls, the progenitor of the Soulsbone genre.

“Being previously involved with Bloodborne and iterations of the Dark Souls series on PS3 and PS4, we’ve always enjoyed immersing ourselves in the haunting designs and themes of these games”, the Facebook post reads. “With this project, getting the chance to explore the possibilities of next-gen console technology while remastering a beloved classic just made everything even more memorable!”

Lemon Sky Studios has a storied history of working in Triple A games, producing high-quality assets for games shipped internationally.

Prior to Demon’s Souls Remastered, the studio had also worked on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, as well as Marvel’s Avengers.

They don’t just produce 3D assets though, as they’d also done animation work on remasters like Blizzard’s Warcraft 3 Reforged.

Lemon Sky had previously spoken at Level Up KL 2020 about what it’s like producing assets for Triple-A games, saying it was about building trust with a client.

Demon’s Souls Remastered is a ground-up remake of the original Soulsborne, Demon’s Souls. It’s available as a launch title on the PS5, launching today.
