Fans are really enjoying LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but for its combos rather than any particular love for Star Wars.
Players have been posting clips of their combos to Twitter, showing that they’re not just one withe force- they’re one with their inner combofiends.
It’s some pretty intense stuff, too- one fan has noted that LEGO Star Wars features jump cancels- an integral part of games like Devil May Cry and Guilty Gear– allowing you to chain moves together by jumping at the end of one move and inputting the next to keep your opponent in the air and extend your combos.
“Characters have slightly different combo opportunities depending on their class, (almost) every class has a launcher, enemies start blocking attacks if you repeat the same combo too much, enemies have very little health and die very quickly“, writes Twitter user Aidan Core.
You won’t be able to style too long on normal enemies though- due to the more casual nature of the games enemies don’t have that many hits in them before exploding into blocks.
Thankfully, fans took a leaf out of Anakin Skywalkers book and decided to test their combo prowess on something a little sturdier- Children.
Of the many things I expected to hear about the new Lego Star Wars game, people anticipating a Combo MAD videos for it wasn't one of them. https://t.co/icjASppHle

I don’t think anyone had “Platinum Games releases a new title but it’s not the best character action thanks to LEGO Star Wars” on their Bingo cards for 2022, yet here we are.
Twitter people labbing combos for fucking Lego Star Wars is actually the coolest and at the same time funniest shit I've seen in a while https://t.co/CXIO64h5cy
