It would appear that, at least for some regions, Legends of Runeterra, Riot Games’ card game based on League of Legends, is available early. Touch Arcade reports it as coinciding with the 1.0 launch of Rising Tides on PC, that will also be available on mobile platforms. Legends of Runeterra itself has been available in beta for PC, with select regions having already played as part of a soft launch.
There will be crossplay between PC and iOS/Android, so have no worry about that. If you’re able, then have a gander at exploring Bilgewater, the new Region introduced with Rising Tides. The official Twitter account has been revealing cards of Rising Tides, with Miss Fortune, Lee Sin, Nautilus and more making their grand appearances! The set also comes with a new key word, Plunder, an ability that triggers on play if the enemy Nexus had been damaged that turn. Play with 120 new cards and 11 new Champions and six new card mechanics!
Meanwhile, there’s been changes to the progression system during the beta, with cards being easier to earn and weekly rewards being more generous. New players shouldn’t have much to worry to catch up to the open beta players, in this case. Progress will not be wiped for those currently playing.
The game will be gradually rolling out, so check back later!
