The arrival of League of Legends: Wild Rift to the Americas coincides with the release of patch 2.2 of the game. The new patch brings more content to the game, such as the Position Preference feature and All Random All Mid (ARAM) mode. Note that the former is not available in the Americas open beta.
ARAM is a popular mode from the PC version of the game. For those who are unfamiliar, it forces all players into a single lane, leading to faster-paced gameplay with more team fights. However, ARAM is only going live in Wild Rift temporarily from 5th April to 8th April. Note that this is only a test and the mode will make its way into the game permanently in the future.
In addition, 5 new champions will join the roster of playable characters in League of Legends: Wild Rift. They are Renekton, Rengar, Galio, Rammus, and Kha’zix. Also, the game’s battle pass, Wild Pass, is finally in the game.
