The newest DLC character for Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid is available today. Lauren Shiba, the Red Samurai Ranger costs USD5.99, or USD14.99 as part of the Season 3 Character Pass.
Sweet, tough and kind-hearted, Lauren Shiba took over the role of Red Samurai Ranger momentarily and led the team against Nighlok. Lauren spent her life mastering the sealing symbol in secret, while her younger brother Jayden led the Samurai Rangers until her return. After Lauren used the Sealing Symbol on Master Xandred, she relinquished her leadership role back to Jayden to finish the fight.
Lauren Shiba has the potential to drastically alter the way Battle for the Grid. This is due in part thanks to her high mobility options. The character features double jumps, dash attacks as well as decent horizontal range. Visually, her playstyle is very reminiscent of characters like Narmaya in Granblue Fantasy Versus and Johnny in Guilty Gear.
Purchasing the season pass for Battle for the Grid will not only unlock Lauren Shiba, but also the previously released Robert James. One more unreleased character will also be available when they launch. Additionally, the Phantom Beast King skin for Dai Shi is only attainable by getting the season pass.
