The previously announced LasDan mobile game has at last announced its release window, after initially projecting for a 2021 release. Shortened from “Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town?“, the original light novel, the LasDan mobile game is expected to release towards the end of September 2022.
As is typically the case, there are milestone rewards for pre-registrants. It has modest goals up to 50,000 users, offering enough currency for at least 8 pulls in the gacha, and one each of a 4-star and 5-star. This milestone count will also take into consideration the Traditional Chinese release coming out in Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong.
LasDan centers around the protagonist, Lloyd Belladona, who hails from the village of Kunlan. He’s considered a weakling in his village, one situated in the most dangerous region of the world. As such, his power level is actually far higher than most, but the apparent cinnamon roll cannot be convinced of his true strength. The original light novel is by Toshio Sato, illustrated by Nao Watanuki. A 12 episode anime series by Liden Films concluded March 2021.
The game has an official website you can check out here. In essence, it’s a 3D turn-based RPG battler, with one of its selling points being Live2D animated cards.
