LasDan will be getting a mobile game adaptation, with a brand new Twitter account opened to announce the fact, which you can follow here. If you’re unfamiliar with the name, you might recognize it from its original mouthful of a title, “Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies moved to a starter town?“, a light novel series by Toshio Sato with illustrations by Nao Watanuki. It has a currently airing anime series slated for 12 episodes by Liden Films.
For the moment, there’s no mention of a publisher and/or developer of the game, and no separate portal for the LasDan mobile game either, besides a notice on its overall series website. It will, however, launch sometime end of 2021, in both Japanese and Traditional Chinese according to an official tweet. It appears to show in-development screens for the game as well, likely a turn-based RPG of sorts with the usual cut-in animations for special attacks, the little 3D models and in-game story mode.
LasDan centers around the protagonist, Lloyd Belladona, who hails from the village of Kunlan. He’s considered a weakling in his village, one situated in the most dangerous region of the world. As such, his power level is actually far higher than most, but the apparent cinnamon roll cannot be convinced of his true strength.
