Capcom has announced that Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess has hit a significant milestone of reaching 500K sales since its release on July 19, 2024. This marks a major success for the game, which has captured the attention of players with its unique blend of action and immersive storytelling.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. To celebrate this milestone, the developers have released a behind-the-scenes making-of video series. To celebrate the game’s success, players will receive 3 Mazo Talismans which can be equipped on the main character Sou: Jubilee, Dancing Crane, and Amaterasu, which is a collaboration with “Okami”. This gift is open to all players, including those who have already played Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess as well as those who will purchase the game in the future.
The Mazo Talismans introduced in this title update feature distinct designs and effects. Players who have already finished the game are encouraged to give them a try. Additionally, a new sorting function has been added to the Mazo Talisman equipment screen, along with minor bug fixes.
The making-of video for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess has released as of August 9, 2024! The first part highlights reference photography for stage production and the creation of effects using 3D scans of miniatures. It also includes interviews with the creators, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the unique worldview crafted through the fusion of analog and digital techniques.
