The transfer of publishing rights for KonoSuba: Fantastic Days to Sesisoft from Nexon Korea Corporation will happen this 1st of June 2023.
Currently, the game will still be serviced by Nexon Korea Corporation up until the date of transfer which will then see Sesisoft continuing the game’s service.
As per the announcement on Nexon’s forums, the service transfer is mostly automatic, with the players only needing to enter a “Transfer ID” to continue playing KonoSuba: Fantastic Days using the same account after the transfer.
Details on the major events taking place leading up to the transfer date on 1st of June are as follows:
Temporary Shop Unavailability
5/24 (Wed) – 6/1/2023 (Thu) Before Maintenance
You can continue gameplay, use the Exchange, and proceed with Recruits as usual. However, direct Shop purchases won’t be available.
Transfer Date
6/1/2023 (Thu) After Maintenance
Decline Transfer Registration Period
27/4 (Thu) After Maintenance – 6/1/2023 (Thu) Before Maintenance
Declining a transfer is done by putting in a request through: [Menu] > [Support] > [Customer Support] under the category ‘Decline Transfer’.
How to find the Transfer ID
Players can find the transfer ID after the 27/4 maintenance by locating and tapping on [Account Transfer] icon on the top of the [Main] screen and do the necessary requirements.
Players will then need to enter their password and save their Transfer ID by either taking a screenshot or writing it down as the Transfer ID and Password will not be displayed again upon closing the Data Transfer window.
The Transfer ID and Password will also be encrypted within the system which means that players will be not be able to identify them even through an inquiry made to their Customer Service representatives.
