Developer Velan Studios has announced that their dodgeball game Knockout City will have its coming Season 9 as its final season.
Season 9 for Knockout City is set to release on February 28th and will run for 12 weeks until May 23rd. Once the season ends, the game will have its 2-week long farewell event as they prepare to shut the game down on June 6th.
Here are what’s coming in the final season:
- Six back-to-back events featuring new cosmetics
- New twists to the game’s best playlists
- New event focusing League Play
- New map for the season themed Brawl Pass and Deep Space Dispatch Storyline
- 2-week long Midnight Madness where the community can pick two playlists to play

As mentioned earlier, May 23rd is when the season ends and the beginning of the game’s farewell event. Titled Thanks for the KOs, the game will feature triple XP gains, massive rewards along with the Superpowers: Power Grab playlists.
Knockout City is an action packed dodgeball game by Velan Studios and is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
While the game will be shutting down its server on June 6th, 2023, the developers did mentioned that they will be releasing a standalone player-hosted version of the game for PC in the future. Do tune into their twitter for the latest news and updates.
