Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series out on PS4, PS5 & Xbox

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has just announced the release of the beloved Klonoa Phantasy Reverie series on the PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series which is out today.

As mentioned previously, the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie series will be out for PS4, PS5, Xbox X | S, and Xbox One starting today. While the PC version via Steam will be available tomorrow on the 8th of July 2022.

A trip down memory lane

To the uninformed, Klonoa which was originally released back in 1997 by Bandai Namco, the series is a side-scrolling platformer that features a cast of colourful characters in a vibrant and colourful environment. Players step in Klonoa’s shoes, as they embark on a journey to save Phantomile.

The remastered version of the game will be including some quality of life features such as an adjustable difficulty level along with a 2-player co-op option, which is a perfect opportunity for newcomers of the series to dive straight into the action while veteran fans get to be reacquainted to the series with ease.

Return to beginning of the windswept adventure

To commemorate the franchise’s 25th anniversary, the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series featuring Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil will be getting a graphical revamp, running at a smooth 60 FPS along with up to 4K resolution.

The Klonoa Phantasy Reverie series will be faithfully preserving the classic gameplay for both newcomers and veterans to enjoy together.

Bandai Namco Collaborative Outfit DLC

Along with the release of the remastered version, the Bandai Namco Collaborative Outfit set will be available to get as you dress Klonoa up as some of the iconic Bandai Namco characters.
