Kirito and Asuna from Sword Art Online will appear in Tales of Arise as DLC

Sword Art Online‘s Kirito and Asuna are coming to Tales of Arise as DLC, adding new weapons, costumes, a Mystic Arte and a boss battle. The DLC will be available on October 7, 2021 and is priced at 1,760 yen.

Tales of Arise players can face Kirito and Asuna in a new boss fight. Upon defeating them, players can unlock Kirito’s weapons—Night Sky Sword: Replica and Blue Rose Sword: Replica. In addition, Alphen also gets access to a Mystic Arte that shows him performing a team attack with Kirito and Asuna by his side.

As for the outfits, Alphen, Shionne and Law can wear Asuna and Kirito’s clothes. Shionne will dress up in Asuna’s usual attire, while Alphen will be in Kirito’s Black Swordsman outfit. Law will don Kirito’s Elite Disciple outfit from Alicization. Check out how they look below:

In the future, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will also be getting a collaboration with Tales of Arise, with Alphen and Shionne coming to the aforementioned game. Tales of Arise has been a huge success, with over a million units sold worldwide.
