The Kirby 30th Anniversary Concert will begin on the 11th of August 2022 at 18:00 JST / 17:00 MYT. If you aren’t able to make it to the Tokyo Garden Theatre, you’ll still be able to hear the pop of Popstar from the comfort of your own room as the concert will be live-streamed over the internet worldwide over the Kirby official youtube channel.
For over 30 years now the Kirby series has gone strong since the original Kirby’s Dreamland Kirby was created by Masahiro Sakurai and Hal Laboratory(who’d go on to make Super Smash Bros) for the Gameboy. Kirby’s simple yet fun gameplay and adorable characters and settings have since made their way onto every one of Nintendo’s various consoles.
The latest game in the series, Kirby and The Forgotten Land will be released for the Nintendo Switch on the 25th of March.
