Kingston announced the winners of the Kingston x CSD APAC Mask Design Competition with artists participating from all over the region.
Kingston teamed up with Taiwan-based face mask supplier, CSD, to organise this competition which started back in November 2020. Since then, this competition reached out and touched the hearts of 39 million people. Many of them voted for the winning mask designs, made with the theme of “There’s Strength in Memory.” Check out the video featuring the designs of the top 10 finalists in the competition:
From over 3,100 various artworks, Vietnam’s Nguyen Dang Binh won the Best of the Best Award in the 3-Colors category. Malaysian Yman.S achieved victory in the Unlimited Colors category.
Aljohn M. Matias from the Philippines, Lilo Jong from Malaysia and Teo Sze Ting, also from Malaysia, won the Special Award. These winners were determined by a panel of judges.
The winners of the Best of the Best award will walk away with USD $5,000, a trophy and their self-designed face masks. The Special Award winners will earn USD $1,000 each while their face masks and designs will enter mass production.
