Kingston has recently introduced their first entry-level consumer-grade PCIe NVMe SSD – A1000. The M.2 drive will be utilizing 3D NAND, and will be able to deliver twice the performance of SATA (at near SATA pricing).
A1000 is ideal for notebooks or systems with limited space thanks to its single-sided M.2 22x80mm design. It is also using PCle NVMe Gen 3.0 x2 interface, 4-channel Phison E8 controller along with 3D NAND Flash, which offers read/write speeds up to 1500MB/s and 1000MB/s (for 960GB version). It is more reliable and durable than a hard drive too!
The A1000 is currently available in 3 version of capacity – 240GB, 480GB and 960GB with 5-years warranty. If you are interested in more information or want to make a purchase, pay a visit to their official site or Facebook!
