King Of Fighters XV has announced a new release window, after recently delaying its release due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to SNK, the new release of King Of Fighters XV will be some time in Q1 of 2022, meaning you’d be styling on your friends with SNK’s iconic fighting game franchise before the end of March.
We also got the full list of platforms for King of Fighters XV, which will release on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10, Steam, as well as the Epic Games Store
It’s interesting to note that SNK seems to imply that the game would get a simultaneous release on the Epic Games Store and Steam, a departure from games that would receive money to delay their Steam release, such as SNK’s other fighting game Samurai Shodown.
Sadly, SNK hasn’t revealed much else about the game, aside from keeping up their usual schedule of releasing trailers for newly-announced characters coming to the 3-on-3 fighter.
The King of Fighters series is definitely in for a big revival with the release of the newest title, following off the heels of Fatal Fury character Terry Bogard being added into Super Smash Bros. SNK have said to stay tuned for more updates on the game’s release.
