As mentioned prior, Demon Slayer or Kimetsu no Yaiba will also be adapted into a Playstation 4 game known as Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppuutan, with some first look trailer and some screenshots to go with it. Check out the trailer below:
The game will be developed by CyberConnect 2, whose repertoire of games include Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Asura’s Wrath and many more. You can check out the few screenshots of the game that were revealed below:
Via the AbemaTV stream where this was revealed, it seems that CC2 will also be revealing a new game based on a manga property. It would be curious to see which one of the many series out there that might make the cut, but it’s very much likely it should be something popular enough to warrant the treatment.
For now you can check out the official portal for both this PS4 title and the upcoming mobile game, Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royale. We’d be expecting Hinokami Keppuutan to see an initial release in Japan first before an overseas release, but who knows, maybe they can surprise us in a trailer closer to expected launch!
