Kick-Flight will shut down on 22 March 2021, just about a year since service began, according to an announcement on its official Twitter. The game was available globally at launch, but players mention a region lock that prevented you from playing with say, Japanese or SEA region players, so you were more likely to play against bots and not get a satisfactory competitive experience. Some blame was put on lack of advertising for international players which meant not many knew about the game in the first place.
In any case, there will be a campaign in-game in the lead up to the Kick-Flight shut down. For posterity, below is the store page description:
