Kemono Friends 3 Trailer & Pre-Registration

Sega has just released a trailer for the upcoming Kemono Friends 3, and officially announced the pre-registration for the RPG mobile game.

Earlier in this year in January, SEGA stated that Kemono Friends 3 would not be developed as a side game or as an adaptation of other media. Rather, Kemono Friends 3 was developed with the intention of making it a true sequel to the previous Kemono Friends 2. Kemono Friends 3 features a completely original story, and will revolve around Japari Park.

The development of Kemono Friends 3 was first announced by SEGA at the 2018 Tokyo Game Show, and unveiled to fans worldwide earlier this year on January, alongside its ‘sibling’ arcade game, Kemono Friends 3: Planet Tours.

Plot & Gameplay

In this instalment, players have to undertake a perilous “Expedition” and join the Japari Park Security And Research Team to put a stop to the yet to be pictured villain, “Cerulean”– who threatens the harmony of Japari Park.

Gameplay details remains rather scarce for the time being, but Friends will be able to interact with one another in the “Japari Security Research Team” building– or JPSRT for short.

Players can overcome difficult battles by making use of the many attributes and special skills of their Friends, as well as make their Friends stronger by using the “Kemo Class” and “Wild Release” skills– though the details and effects of these skills remain unknown for now.

Some key highlights announced include the customisation of Friends’ appearances, and new Friends that are exclusively available only in Kemono Friends 3.

However, despite the addition of new Friends, this instalment will feature many of the original Friends that warmed the hearts of many Kemono fans in the past.

Kemono Friends 3 will be free-to-play, have gacha elements in-game, and come with item-based in-app purchases. Currently, the game is set to be released exclusively in Japan on the App Store and Google Play.
