Weekly Shonen Jump Ore Collection is a collectible card combat game featuring the iconic Weekly Shonen Jump characters. The game was launched in 2017 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump, and now Bandai Namco has decided to perform a major rework on it. With the new name – Jump Hero Taisen Ore Collection 2, the game will get its relaunch in 2019.
Similar to its original version, Jump Hero Taisen Ore Collection 2 will feature Jump Heroes for players to collect and assemble. The difference is that the Jump heroes are now in 3D, while certain characters from the original version will be removed from the new lineup.
The combat system is also different now – it is turn-based where the Jump Heroes fight at your command. By combining forces of the various Jump Heroes, you can release powerful Ultimate Attacks. There will be Arena for you to battle against other players too.
The existing Ore Collection players can transfer their account over to Ore Collection 2, however you won’t be able to keep your items or character level. Thankfully, you can still receive compensation according to how much you spent on the game.
The official website and Twitter for the new version are live now, make sure you check them out if you need more information!
