This year it’s Weekly Shonen Jump’s 50th Anniversary! To celebrate their 50 years of age, a new mobile game, Jumputi Heroes (ジャンプチ ヒーローズ) featuring famous and legendary manga heroes is in development! The game will be developed by WonderPlanet and Line which is a puzzle RPG built on Jump’s principles of friendship, diligence and victory.
As mentioned above, the game will feature popular mangas that were published since the 1980s to 2000s. Players will make a team comprising of four characters to defeat enemies. Since it is a puzzle game, players are required to match the colours of gems to launch an attack, to gain power ups or to heal the team.

The game is expected to be released in the Spring of Japan which is between March to June. With a total of 29 mangas featured in the game, there will be plenty of characters to be utilized and brings familiarity to players even from the ’90s.
