Developed by DeNa, JUMP: Assemble is a 5v5 MOBA game that lets you play as characters from Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Despite having a plethora of characters to choose from, many popular characters are omitted from the current roster of JUMP: Assemble, with them opting to go for niche options such as Andy from Undead Unluck instead.
Some of the exclusions can feel straight up disrespectful. Thus, we’ve made a list of who we want to see in the game, and speculate on their potential abilities and classes.
Vegeta
Vegeta was disrespected yet again, being snubbed from the roster despite being the deuteragonist of the Dragon Ball series. Not including Vegeta on the roster is straight-up criminal, especially since we got a two different variants of Goku and Buu before Vegeta.
As for his class, he would probably be a Fighter type. Vegeta shares a very similar fighting style with Goku, thus it would make sense for him to share the same class.
His kit would include the Final Flash or Galick Gun as the equivalent to the Kamehameha, but will include some abilities that make him stand out, such as a potential Forced Spirit Fission ability which increases the cooldown of your enemy’s abilities.
Gojo
Another interesting inclusion would be the real main character of Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo.
The addition of Gojo is a no-brainer, as he’s arguably the most popular character in Jujutsu Kaisen, consistently ranking #1 in the character popularity polls, with his popularity being boosted even further after playing major roles in the recent events of both the anime and manga.
He would be a Ranger/Mage type, as most of his attacks from the series are launched at a distance, such as Blue, Red, and Purple. His Infinity could also stop enemies from getting close to him, allowing him to keep his enemies at a distance. His Domain Expansion could also make an interesting Ultimate, either isolating the enemies in a barrier like he did with Jogo, or stunning all the nearby enemies like he did in Shibuya.
Denji
The game has yet to receive any representation from Chainsaw Man, but I think Denji would make a perfect addition to the roster.
Due to the immense popularity of the anime and manga, the addition of Chainsaw Man wouldn’t be out of left field, with Denji being one of multiple characters from the series that would fit into the roster well.
As for his class, I could see him being a Fighter, engaging in close quarters combat with his chainsaws. His regenerative abilities would also play an interesting role during combat, which would probably translate to a vampiric effect in game, where damaging enemies would heal Denji. As for his Ultimate we don’t know what his Ultimate would be for sure, but it’s save to say it would involve chainsaws.
Josuke Higashikata
Like Chainsaw Man, the game has yet to have any characters from the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise. Although characters like Jotaro or DIO would make for more popular picks, we think that the inclusion of Josuke would give some much needed representation to the underrated Part 4 of the series.
I think that Josuke’s abilities would also translate well to the game, making for good Support class with his stand being able to heal others.
As for his Ultimate, I’d love to see it being him going berserk after assuming the opponent made fun of his hairdo.
A release date for JUMP: Assemble has yet to be announced, but news on upcoming beta tests will be announced on the game’s official Discord group.
