Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade has made more than 10 million USD in earnings in little over a week since the game’s launch.
According to Appmagic, the game’s revenue currently sits at 10.5 million USD- a huge feat considering the game only came out in Japan.
Naturally, the biggest surge for the game’s revenue comes at the start, though there’s been minimal dropoff in the days since.
Appmagic has it placed as the 16th highest-earning game for the week- beating out top earning mainstays like Honkai Star Rail, NIKKE Goddess of Victory and DBZ Dokkan Battle.
That being said, it’s also a slow week for the NIKKE and Star Rail, with both titles either anticipating or right after major banners.
There’s a lot of factors to consider when looking at the earnings for Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade- for one, we’re currently in the middle of the height of the anime’s popularity with Season 2 currently airing.
That combined with the fact that the manga is also going strong would naturally create a lot of buzz for the mobile game, and possibly drive spending as players try to pull for their favorite charactes.
It’s a strong sign for Jujutsu Kaisen IP, which is set to appear in more games via the console release of Cursed Clash next year as well as DeNa’s Jump Assemble, which features characters from across Shonen Jump.
