Jojo’s Pitter Patter Pop, a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure mobile game from Lucky Land Communications and Bandai Namco will be shutting down.
It was announced earlier this month that the game will no longer be continuing its services from September 2, 2021 onwards. Diamonds, the game’s premium currency, will no longer be available for purchase starting on August 2, 2021.
Featuring a super-deformed art style, the game is a puzzle game that makes use of tile-matching mechanics. From Jonathan to Giorno, characters from Part 1 all the way to Part 5 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure are available in the game. Players can take on enemies and bosses by matching 4 tiles together by performing attacks and combos.
Characters were also separated into different rarities, with various skills and abilities. Players could also organise their favorite JoJo heroes and villains into the JoJo Mansion, a hub where the characters can interact with each other. The rooms in the mansion can even be decorated.
JoJo’s Pitter Patter Pop was first announced alongside the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5 anime. It released on October 10, 2018. With September this year marked as the game’s final resting date, it would already have a runtime of nearly 3 years. As with most JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure mobile games, an English version never released.
