Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure is getting its own “JoJo Magazine” in Japan and the magazine will feature new spin-off manga going deeper into the lives of the eccentric characters of the Jojo universe.
JoJo magazine will feature the latest chapter of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, a long-running spin-off manga starring the character Rohan Kishibe. It will be 71 pages long as is titled ‘Hot Summer Martha’.
It will also feature a story called ‘King of Inifinity’ which will star the character Lisa Lisa and is set in between parts 2 and 3. There will also be a story called ‘Stray Dog Iggy’ about how the chewing gum-eating Boston terrier Iggy met Avdol before the events of part 3.
The magazine was made to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. It will feature content exclusively about the series including interviews and artwork. The first issue will include an interview with Daisuke Ono and Fairouz Ai, the voices of Jotaro Kujo and Jolyne Kujo in the anime. There will also be a section where cast members who worked on Parts 1-5 of the anime will discuss their favorite scenes in the series.
The first issue of JoJo Magazine will be launched on March 19th, 2022 in Japan and is priced at 1650 yen which is roughly $15.50 USD or 60 MYR.
