Back in July, Jandisoft, a Korean indie developer has come up with an MMORPG based on HTML5. The game was said to be able to run on any platforms as long as you have access to the internet and a web browser. Sure enough, the developers has released a video showing off the capability of their HTML5 MMORPG, Mad World.
Check out their video showing off ‘Mad World’s’ capability on any platforms:
As seen in the video above, the game has no issues running on an Samsung Tablet, iPad, Mac, iOS, Android, PC Windows and Linux. Since the game is running on your browser, the game details and your character progress is saved and stored on their servers online. This means that you can play it on any platform, anywhere, even if it is not on your own PC. All you have to do is get on a random PC, start up a browser and start playing!
The developers aims to proof the power of HTML5 and hopes that this could be the start of a new generation of games being built upon. Though there is not further news upon the completion and release of the game yet, their planned release is expected to be in 2018.
