Fans of absurdly long anime titles can get excited with new information regarding the upcoming I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years And Maxed Out My Level. The studio put out new promotional art, as well as a trailer for the series. It premieres in Spring of next year.
For Japanese-literate fans, the series is also called Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita
Nobukage Kimura, director of Gatchaman Insight is directing the upcoming anime. Keisuke Oto of Fate/Grand Order: First Order fame is the character designer for this series.
The series is based on the light novel of the same absurdly long title by author Kisetsu Morita and illustrator Benio. It’s about a girl who goes to a fantasy world, and as the title implies, becomes absurdly powerful by killing nothing but slimes for 300 years.
As these anime tend to go she meets a colorful cast of characters, including a dragon who wants to be her apprentice, a high level demon and an Elf.
It was previously released as a CD drama. As a result, many of the CD drama’s cast will be reprising their roles. One such example is Aoi Yuki, who voices the main character Azusa.
The series will debut in Spring of 2021. Impatient fans can also get their hands on the light novels, which are being published in English via Yen Press.
