Ahead of its 26 March launch, EA and Hazelight Studios have released a new narrated gameplay trailer for It Takes Two. The game is an upcoming co-op adventure from BAFTA award-winning studio behind A Way Out. Packed with genre-bending challenges, the game takes players on a metaphorical merging of gameplay and narrative, pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling like never before.
In It Takes Two, players step into the shoes of Cody and May, a clashing couple who turn into dolls through unknown magical means. Trapped in a fantastical world where unpredictability hides around every corner, they must reluctantly learn to overcome their differences, save their fractured relationship and find their path back home to their beloved daughter Rose.
The game will launch on retail and digital storefronts on 26 March 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Origin and Steam for $39.99, and is also up for pre-order. All players who purchase the game on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to its next-gen counterpart for free on the same date.
