Back in November 2017, Razer announced their high-end gaming smartphone that could support up to 120Hz display. It shook the world and now ASUS seems to be following suit as well. ASUS, a Taiwanese multinational computer and phone hardware and electronics company, is rumored to be teasing their new gaming smartphone during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 that will be held in Fira Gran Via Barcelona, Spain.
The rumored gaming smartphone will be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845, accompanied with a cooling system that allows the Snapdragon to hit max clocks and not throttle. With 6GB or more of RAM, ASUS might just call it the RoG Phone which is their first gaming-focused smartphone under the Republic of Gamers brand.
For now it’s just a rumor but we will definitely hear more about it during the coming MWC 2018.
