Iron Man VR delayed indefinitely

Besides the announced The Last of Us Part 2 delay, Iron Man VR also joins the “delayed indefinitely” notice, due to “logistical issues”. The full notice is simply as follows:

Update: SIE has made the difficult decision to delay the launch of The Last of Us Part II and Marvel’s Iron Man VR until further notice. Logistically, the global crisis is preventing us from providing the launch experience our players deserve.

Currently, there are no other delays to report, but we’ll keep you updated.

We had a hands-on demo of the VR experience ourselves, which you can read about here. Here’s to hoping the logistical issues, most assuredly due to the current coronavirus / COVID-19 pandemic, would be able to be resolved soon, and of course, the pandemic itself dies out. Maybe they can decide to send out copies of the games early like FFVIIR, but that too presents its own set of challenges. We’ll keep you updated on how it goes.
