Apple just unveiled the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in the Apple Event, which are capable of running console games.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are powered by A17 Pro, the industry’s first 3-nanometre chip, which makes running console games on mobile possible.
The A17 Pro brings improvements to the entire chip, including redesigns for the GPU.
The new GPU is said to be 20 percent faster, featuring a new 6-core design that increases peak performance and energy efficiency.
Moreover, the iPhone 15 Pro series has hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which is 4x faster than software-based ray tracing, allowing the iPhone 15 Pro series to offer smoother graphics, as well as more immersive AR applications and gaming experiences.
Apple is targeting more premium gaming experiences by developing mobile versions of popular console titles such as Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Death Stranding, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
iPhone 15 Pro starts at RM5,499, available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacities, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at RM6,499, available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacities.
