KRAFTON, the developer behind the upcoming life simulation game inZOI, has announced that the title will feature official mod support at launch. This initiative comes through a partnership with CurseForge, the popular mod repository owned by Overwolf.
The collaboration aims to create a dedicated platform for inZOI mods, providing players with tools and resources to enhance their creative experience within the game. As part of this partnership, Overwolf will work with KRAFTON to identify Early Access modders who will create content ahead of the game’s release, helping to build a curated space for inZOI mods on the CurseForge platform.
inZOI producer and director Hyungjun Kim emphasized the game’s commitment to encouraging mod creation and artistic expression from players. Additionally, KRAFTON and CurseForge view the partnership as a step towards providing the community with the best resources to bring their creative visions to life.
Overwolf CEO Uri Marchand highlighted the importance of user-generated content in gaming, describing it as both the present and future of the industry. He expressed enthusiasm about partnering with KRAFTON to provide safe, curated modding experiences for inZOI from its launch.
In addition to the mod support announcement, KRAFTON revealed that a limited-time play of the game’s character creator, inZOI: Character Studio, will be available for PC via Steam from August 21 to 26. Furthermore, this will give players an early opportunity to explore one aspect of the game’s creative tools.
