Pre-registrations for the mobile title, Inuyasha: Awakening from Indofun are currently open. It’s a localized version of a China release, which also launched in Japan as Inuyasha: The Awakening Story in March. Pre-registrations for Inuyasha: Awakening only appear to be on Android for now. No release date has been given either, with only “soon” as a vague timeframe.
Pre-registration milestones are given as follows:
- Over 100.000 pre-registrations = 10.000 Coins + 50 Gold
- Over 250.000 pre-registrations = 20.000 Coins + 100 Gold
- Over 500.000 pre-registrations = 20.000 Coins + 100 Gold + 5 Wish Doll
- Over 1.000.000 pre-registrations = 20.000 Coin + 100 Gold + 10 Wish Doll + Hero SR: Miroku the Monk
The story given for the game is pretty much just the manga/anime’s original plotline:
The Story begins with Kagome Higurashi, schoolgirl from modern-day Tokyo who is transported to the Sengoku period of Japan after falling into a well and meets the half dog-demon, Inuyasha. When a monster from that era tries to take the magical Shikon Jewel embodied in Kagome, she inadvertently shatters the Jewel into many pieces that are dispersed across Japan. Inuyasha and Kagome start traveling to recover it before the powerful and evil half spider-demon Naraku finds all the shards.
The game is currently at 306,056 pre-registrations, and with a fairly lofty 1,000,000 total, haul in your other Inuyasha fans if you want to get all those rewards.
