AI solution provider Innodisk has announced its plan for Computex 2024, aiming to showcase an array of new products with a focus on edge AI.
At Computex 2024, Innodisk planned to showcase its CXL 2.0 memory expansion, E3.S SSD, and MIPI over Type-C camera technology for machine vision.
This will include live demonstrations of smart manufacturing PPE recognition as well as intelligent people tracking with an emphasis on Innodisk’s custom edge AI capabilities.
Expanding Industrial Product Lines
When it comes to AI and edge computing, reliable and high-performance memory and storage are crucial, especially as edge servers evolve and demand resilience in extreme environments and high data throughput.
At this year’s Computex, Innodisk is set to unveil the industry’s first industrial-grade CXL 2.0 memory expansion for high scalability. Furthermore, the company will also be launching DDR5 LPCAMM2 and DDR5-8800 MRDIMM memory, with both up to JEDEC’s advanced standards. The showcase will also feature the E1.S Gen4 SSD series alongside wide-temperature SSDs tailored for edge servers, such as the E1.S/E3.S, which will be available in various form factors, including 16TB SSDs.
Additionally, Innodisk will debut the MIPI over Type-C camera technology, which converts signal through exclusive adapter board design and improves platform compatibility, extending the length of MIPI camera cables. This will help unlock applications in areas such as autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and shared mobility.
AI in Action
Another reveal is InnoTracking, a smart people-tracking solution that is claimed to be able to accurately identify and track specific individuals across multiple cameras. Meanwhile, Innodisk’s PPE recognition solution uses an FPGA platform to process real-time images with 4 cameras at once, allowing its system to notify supervisors if there is any violation of safety protocols in a work environment. Innodisk is also collaborating with Network Optix for ways to enrich user experience in video security space.
On the other hand, the “CAP Air” air quality management solution addresses ESG requirements by combining patented air quality detection technology with sensors, edge servers, cloud management interfaces, and IoT ventilation controllers. This makes it suitable for smart factories and healthcare facilities.
“Architect Intelligence”
Innodisk’s theme for this event is “Architect Intelligence”, emphasizing their commitment to building intelligent solutions with global partners with the practical implementation of AI.
Through this theme, Innodisk integrates a variety of product lines into nine intelligent series, each represented by diverse colors, symbolizing the limitless potential of AI applications and Innodisk’s innovative spirit. Furthermore, these colored blocks represent the flexibility of solutions and collaborative effort to architect AI solutions with customers.
Innodisk will be showcasing at Booth J0110, Hall 1, 1F, Nangang Exhibition Center from June 4th to 7th, 2024, at Computex.
