Innodisk, a Taiwanese industrial storage solutions provider is showcasing AI integration technology at NVIDIA GTC 2024 in San Jose, USA.
At the conference, Innodisk is presenting smart manufacturing solutions that are powered by NVIDIA Metropolis for Factories technology, with it featuring AOI defect detection.
The demonstration mainly highlights the EV2U0SGR1 low-light USB camera module, which is designed to overcome dim lighting constraints that are commonly found in manufacturing environments.
By using the module’s lens specifications and customized 3A functions (auto-focus, auto-exposure, auto-white balance), the module aims to enable more safety and security by allowing more accurate factory monitoring.
“The AI tools and frameworks from NVIDIA drive innovation, complemented by Innodisk’s customer-focused approach and deep integration experience, transforming AI into practical solutions,” explained Randy Chien, Chairman of Innodisk. “This customer-centric approach is key to bridging advanced AI technology with real-world industry solutions.”
Furthermore, the AI applications that Innodisk showcases several other AI applications that use key development tools from the NVIDIA AI Enterprise, such as:
- NVIDIA TAO Toolkit for model training
- NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for model deployment and management
- NVIDIA DeepStream SDK for AI inference
All of the above are packaged as microservices that can be controlled by intuitive REST APIs.
Responding to the growing demand for edge AI hardware, Innodisk is also showcasing industrial-grade SSDs, memory products, and expansion modules at GTC. Attendees of NVIDIA GTC 2024 can visit Innodisk at booth 338 to explore the company’s customizable AI solutions.
