Infinix announced the NOTE 40 Series, the latest addition to its product lineup, and it is said to be a benchmark for fast charging.
Unveiled at the Formula 1 racing track, Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, Infinix NOTE 40 Series showcases its All-Round HyperSpeed Lab.
All-Round FastCharge 2.0
This new phone lineup represents a significant advancement in Infinix’s All-Round FastCharge 2.0
technology, introducing 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge, 20W Wireless MagCharge, and a self-developed chip that supports multi-function charging modes.
The lineup also includes the Infinix MagKit for a convenient magnetic charging experience, featuring the MagCase phone case, MagPad magnetic charging pad, and MagPower magnetic power bank.
Furthermore, the Infinix NOTE 40 Series also comes with a reverse charging capability for sharing power between devices at speeds up to 10W and a PD3.0 protocol support that enables charging laptops with the phone’s charger.
Display and Camera
The NOTE 40 Pro Series also features a 55° 3D curved 120Hz AMOLED display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass.
Meanwhile, the NOTE 40 boasts a flat display with an ultra-narrow bezel using the unibody metal device antenna (MDA) design, which hides the antenna into the frame.
With a 120Hz 1080P resolution AMOLED display, the NOTE 40 Series has a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and has a TÜV Rheinland certification for anti-blue light eye protection and a high PWM Dimming rate of 2,160Hz.
Incorporating AI technologies like Active Halo AI lighting, the light display alternates based on various activities such as receiving calls, and notifications, playing games or music, charging, or using the voice assistant, Folax.
The phone is also partnered with Sound by JBL for its dual stereo speakers while offering a 108MP camera with 3x Lossless Super-zoom with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) support.
Furthermore, users can record simultaneously from the 32 MP front and rear cameras using Dual Video mode, and leverage editing features like Vlog Clipper.
Chipset
The NOTE 40 Series will also be introducing the D7020 and G99 chipset, utilizing 6nm processes for energy efficiency and high performance.
These new chipsets are enhanced by AI features on XOS 14, which includes the likes of Folax, Ask AI and AI wallpaper generator.
Furthermore, the phone also supports up to 24GB of extended RAM, with a vacuum chamber cooling system that is said to reduce temperatures by up to 7°C.
There is also the XBOOST Frame Rate Control feature for optimizing frame rates while gaming.
Prices and availability of the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro 5G and NOTE 40 in Malaysia are set to be announced soon.
