Infinix, a tech brand targeting young consumers, has officially launched the second annual Mobile Vlog Awards (MVA) 2024 on TikTok. The competition, designed to empower young creators worldwide, carries the slogan “Capture Your Own Story” and the theme “Your Story, Your Style.”
This year, Infinix has assembled a panel of industry experts to inspire and judge participants. The panel includes Moritz Neumüller, a renowned curator with ties to the Museum of Modern Art, and Joshua Guvi, a content creator known for cinematic-quality vlogs and his advocacy for AI integration in video creation.
Infinix invites participants to share their vlog creations using the official hashtags and a specially developed TikTok filter. Furthermore, the competition aims to elevate vlogging from a social media trend to an art form, encouraging participants to explore vertical filmmaking and push creative boundaries.
The MVA 2024 offers substantial prizes, including a TikTok boost worth RM43,000 for the grand prize winner. Additionally, there are five major award categories, each recognizing two winners. Furthermore, winners in these categories will receive an Infinix ZERO flagship smartphone, a Creator toolkit, and the title of “Infinix Vlog Ambassador.”
In addition, Infinix has unveiled the ZERO 40 5G smartphone, featuring 4K front and rear ProStable video capabilities, 50MP ultra-wide lenses, GoPro integration, and AI-powered editing tools. The competition will run until November 30th, 2024, and Infinix will announce the winners afterwards. Lake Hu, Vice General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer of Infinix, emphasized the company’s vision of vlogging as a powerful medium for self-expression and cultural dialogue.
